Chandigarh, October 19, 2026- OSD Rajvir Ghuman has been questioned for a long time in an important case being conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
According to the information, the CBI investigation of Rajvir Ghuman continued for five hours. After this interrogation, he will now have to appear before the CBI again on 22 October. During this long period of investigation, a lot of agitation is being seen in political and other circles.
Talking to reporters after coming out of the investigating agency's office, Rajvir Ghuman claimed that if this ongoing investigation is conducted with complete impartiality and honesty, then the real truth will come out in front of everyone.
Ghuman even claimed that he himself had instructed the CBI officials to investigate in a completely impartial manner, so that no innocent person is harmed.
Emerging from the interrogation, Rajveer Ghuman also raised questions on the functioning of the central agency. He alleged that the CBI is trying to intimidate and threaten several persons by calling them and asking them strange questions.
He clarified that due to legal etiquette and confidentiality of the investigation, he cannot openly discuss the specific questions asked to the media, but he assured that we have fully cooperated in the investigation from the beginning and will continue to cooperate in the same way.
Meanwhile, Ghuman also expressed his anger over the dissemination of documents and letters related to the cases by the investigating agencies. He said that the way in which official letters or information of the CBI and other investigating agencies are made public or disseminated in the media is very wrong and it leads to loss of privacy and legal process. Now all eyes are on the upcoming 22nd, when Rajvir Ghuman will have to appear before the CBI again.
