"PUNJAB SIKHYA KRANTI": MLA Bhullar inaugurates development projects at Govt schools in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, April 21, 2025: Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is making continuous efforts to improve the learning environment in government schools for both teachers and students. This was stated by Ferozepur City MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar while addressing gatherings at various government schools “Punjab Sikhya Kranti" initiative.
The events were held at Government Middle School Kamal Wala Khurd, Government Primary School Kutbdeen Wala, and Government Primary School Kale Ke Hithar. Also present on the occasion were Deputy District Education Officer, Komal Arora and Block Primary Education Officer Ferozepur-2 Rajan Narula.
MLA Bhullar highlighted that, under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the dedicated efforts of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, large-scale reforms are being implemented in the state’s government schools. These efforts have strengthened the basic infrastructure and improved teaching methodologies. To further enhance teaching quality, selected government school teachers have received high-level training at prestigious institutions in IIT Ahmedabad, Singapore, and Finland. The goal is to prepare students to compete successfully in international-level examinations.
He also shared that, thanks to the supportive environment in government schools, many students have successfully cleared the prestigious JEE Mains examination. Over the past three years, 20,000 teachers have been regularised in the state. The government is focused on providing modern facilities and quality education to underprivileged and middle-class children studying in government schools. Bhullar emphasised that an educated society forms the foundation of a developed state and nation, and the Punjab Government is committed to ensuring equal educational opportunities for every child.
Urging residents of Ferozepur, Bhullar appealed to parents to enrol their children in government schools so they can benefit from quality education and modern facilities.
