Parent-Teacher Meet held at School of Eminence; MLA Bhullar highlights education reforms
Ferozepur, March 28, 2026: A grand Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was organized at the School of Eminence, as part of the Punjab Government’s ongoing efforts to elevate the standard of education. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between parents and teachers and create a supportive environment for the holistic development of students.
Under the directions of the Education Department, Punjab, similar PTMs and annual result declaration events were organised across all 224 upper primary schools in the district under the leadership of District Education Officer (Secondary) Munila Arora and Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Satinder Singh.
Ferozepur Urban MLA, Ranbir Singh Bhullar, attended the event as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary) Dr. Satinder Singh (National Awardee), Deputy District Education Officer (Elementary) Komal Arora, and other officials. The guests were formally welcomed by School Principal Rajesh Mehta. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of parents, students, and local dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Bhullar stated that the Punjab Government is committed to bringing transformative changes in the education sector. He emphasized that Parent-Teacher Meetings are proving to be a milestone in strengthening communication and collaboration between parents and educators. He further highlighted that government schools are now equipped with modern infrastructure, experienced faculty, and improved learning environments, ensuring quality education for students. He also announced that the government will soon launch a digital revolution and Phase-II of its education reforms in government schools.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Satinder Singh said that these meetings are not merely formalities but serve as an effective platform to build strong partnerships between parents and teachers. He added that open discussions on students’ academic performance, attendance, and overall development help in enhancing their progress.
Principal Rajesh Mehta shared insights about the modern facilities and innovative teaching methods being adopted in the school. He informed that special efforts are being made for the all-round development of students. Exhibitions prepared by students were also displayed, drawing significant appreciation from parents.
During the event, meritorious students were honoured to boost their morale. The Education Department also shared detailed information about upcoming policies and reforms.
The PTM concluded on a positive note, successfully fostering greater engagement among students, parents, and teachers, and marking another step forward in improving the quality of education in government schools.
