Kharar (Mohali), January 9, 2026: — Panic gripped the Kharar SDM office earlier today after the local administration received a threatening email warning of a bomb blast on the premises.
The threat, sent directly to the office's official email address, sparked an immediate emergency response, leading to a complete evacuation of the building. Police officials, accompanied by the Bomb Disposal Squad and a Dog Squad, arrived at the scene shortly after the alert was raised.
Security personnel systematically cleared the building of all staff members, officers, and visitors to ensure public safety.
