Nitin Nabin pays obeisance at Golden Temple, performs Seva in Langar Hall

Amritsar (Punjab), June 20, 2026: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin on Saturday visited Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) and offered prayers for peace, communal harmony, and prosperity across the country, with a special focus on Punjab’s well-being.
During his visit, Nabin also participated in seva at the Langar Hall, where he washed utensils, reflecting the Sikh tradition of humility, service and selfless devotion.
Speaking to the media after paying obeisance, he said he felt honoured to visit the sacred shrine and performed ardas for “Sarbat da Bhala” (welfare of all humanity), peace and progress of the nation, and prosperity of Punjab.
Sharing his experience on social media, Nabin described the visit as deeply humbling, noting that engaging in seva at the Langar Hall reinforced the values of service and equality central to Sikh teachings.
BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh also accompanied him during the visit. The leaders later sampled traditional Amritsari lassi, with Chugh remarking that the experience reflected Punjab’s rich culture, warmth and hospitality.
He further stated that those present reiterated their commitment to collective efforts toward building a drug-free Punjab.
Nabin’s visit is part of the BJP’s ongoing outreach initiatives in Punjab, aligning with its broader focus on social engagement and anti-drug campaigns in the state.
