Haryana CM Saini in Mohali: Bhagat Kabir’s message of unity still guides humanity

Mohali (Punjab), April 21, 2026: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the teachings of Bhagat Kabir continue to hold deep relevance for humanity, emphasising their message of equality, unity and spiritual wisdom.
The Haryana Chief Minister was addressing a state-level seminar on the life and teachings of Bhagat Kabir at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in Mohali. The event was organised by the Bhagat Kabir Welfare Foundation in collaboration with social and media organisations.
In his address, Saini said Kabir’s philosophy transcends time and continues to guide people towards a righteous path. “If we truly follow the path shown by Kabir, we can lead meaningful and balanced lives,” he said, adding that Kabir’s message is as powerful as ever in today’s world.
He described Bhagat Kabir as a visionary social reformer who promoted harmony, brotherhood and secular values. The Chief Minister urged people to rise above hatred and discrimination and work towards a more united society.
The seminar also featured detailed discussions on Kabir’s life and teachings by noted speakers, including former vice-chancellor Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri. The event was attended by representatives from various religious and social organisations, along with political leaders and community members.
Organisers said such seminars are being conducted across Punjab to spread awareness about Kabir’s teachings and their relevance in contemporary society.
