Breaking: Ludhiana MC Commissioner transferred; See who got the charge

Ludhiana ([Punjab), June 13, 2026: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Punjab Government has transferred the Commissioner of the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation and appointed IAS officer Ojasvi as the new Municipal Commissioner.
A 2020-batch IAS officer, Ojasvi was previously serving as Additional Chief Administrator of Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority.
According to orders issued by the Punjab Government, Ojasvi will replace Neeru Katyal Gupta as Commissioner of the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation. His services have been placed at the disposal of the Local Government Department for the new assignment.
The transfer is part of the state government's ongoing administrative restructuring aimed at strengthening governance and urban administration.
