Haryana IAS officer given addtional charge of Secretary, M/o Tribal Affairs

New Delhi, June 15, 2026: The Central Government has assigned additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, to senior IAS officer Anil Malik.
According to an official order, the Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Anil Malik, a 1991-batch IAS officer of the Haryana cadre and currently Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development, to hold the additional charge from June 16 to July 1, 2026.
Malik will oversee the responsibilities of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs during the leave period of Ranjana Chopra, a 1994-batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre, who serves as Secretary in the ministry.
The arrangement will remain in effect until July 1, 2026, or until Ranjana Chopra resumes her duties, whichever is earlier.
