Chandigarh, June 20, 2026: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has witnessed an overwhelming response to the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group-D recruitment drive, with more than 50,000 candidates registering within a single day.
Sharing the information through social media, HSSC Chairman Himmat Singh said that a total of 50,146 candidates completed the registration process in one day. Of these, 10,646 applicants successfully filled out and submitted their applications in final form.
Describing the response as a reflection of the enthusiasm and confidence of Haryana’s youth, Singh said the large number of registrations demonstrates the strong interest among job seekers in government employment opportunities.
The HSSC Chairman urged candidates to fill out their application forms themselves and carefully verify all details before final submission. He cautioned that errors in the application process could create complications at later stages of recruitment and advised applicants to avoid rushing through the process.
Singh also appealed to candidates not to pay attention to rumours or misleading information circulating regarding the recruitment process. He emphasized that applicants should rely only on official notifications and updates issued by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
“The Commission is committed to conducting the recruitment process in a transparent manner and stands with candidates at every stage,” he said.
The CET Group-D recruitment process has generated significant interest among aspirants across Haryana, with thousands continuing to register as the application process progresses.
