  Chandigarh, July 15, 2026: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has appointed Kamikkar Singh as a Member of the Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes.
  
  According to an official order issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, the appointment was made after careful consideration. The order states that Kamikkar Singh will serve as a member of the statutory commission tasked with safeguarding the rights and welfare of Scheduled Castes in Punjab.
  
  The appointment takes immediate effect as per the official notification.
