Chandigarh: College/Schools shut down due to court appearance of Sukhbir Badal

Chandigarh, July 20, 2026: In view of the advisory issued by Chandigarh Police regarding the court hearing of Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal in Sector 32, and considering that the Punjab Police Officers' Institute adjoins the SD College campus, the following institutions shall remain closed on Monday, July 20, 2026, to ensure the safety and security of students, parents, faculty, and staff:
1. GGDSD College, Chandigarh
2. PML SD Business School
3. PML SD Public School
4. Office of GGDSD College Society
