MLA Dahiya hands over appointment letters to 18 Anganwadi Helpers
Ferozepur, September 7, 2026: MLA Ferozepur Rural Rajnish Kumar Dahiya handed over appointment letters to 18 newly appointed Anganwadi Helpers of Mamdot Block.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dahiya said that the Punjab Government’s drive to provide employment opportunities continues, with appointment letters being issued to eligible candidates across the state. As part of this initiative, appointment letters were handed over to 18 Anganwadi Helpers in Mamdot Block today.
He said Anganwadi centres play an important role in ensuring that various government welfare schemes and facilities reach the people. Anganwadi workers and helpers serve as an important link between the government and the public, helping take government initiatives and services to the grassroots level.
Congratulating the newly appointed Anganwadi Helpers, MLA Dahiya said that they had now become an important part of the government’s service delivery system. He urged them to work with dedication and ensure that people are made aware of various health-related, social and economic welfare schemes being provided by the government and are able to avail themselves of their benefits.
He expressed confidence that the newly appointed helpers would perform their responsibilities sincerely and contribute towards strengthening the delivery of government services at the grassroots level.
