Breaking: PPS Officer Suba Singh posted as DIG Prisons, Patiala Circle

Chandigarh, September 7, 2026: Senior PPS officer Suba Singh has been assigned a key responsibility in the Punjab Prisons Department and posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Prisons, Patiala Circle.
According to an official order issued by Punjab Prisons Headquarters, Suba Singh, PPS 41/BTI (622/BR), will take charge as DIG Prisons, Patiala Circle, with immediate effect.
The order was issued following approval from the Punjab Government’s Department of Home Affairs, Home-1 Branch. It was formally issued by Additional DGP (Prisons) R.K. Jaiswal, IPS.
As per the directive, Suba Singh will hold the charge until the State Government issues final posting orders.
