Gulzar Singh of Toor Vanjara village who raised issue of drugs dies at DMC Ludhiana after consuming Celphos

Chandigarh/Sangrur, September 8, 2026: Gulzar Singh of village Toor Vanjara in Dirba, who had raised issue of drugs before Finance Minister Harpal Cheema during his visit to village, died in DMC hospital Ludhiana last night. He was 46.
His younger brother Bikkar singh said that Gulzar has urged Finance Minister Harpal Cheema that his one son was habitual drug addict and was even selling wheat from home to purchase drugs. He had urged that this drug issue should be resolved.
After that police came to take him along and later his consumed Celphos. He was rushed to DMC Ludhiana where he died around 10.30 PM last night.
He demanded that action should be taken as per his dying declaration which he gave live on social media.
