Blood Flows for a Cause: Lions Club Ferozepur Border's Camp sees 56 Units donated
Ferozepur Cantt, September 12, 2026: Continuing its active role in social service, Lions Club Ferozepur Border organized a blood donation camp on Saturday at Hotel Aamantran, Bazar No. 2, Ferozepur Cantt, with the aim of helping needy patients. Members of the public participated enthusiastically, with 56 units of blood collected during the camp.
On the occasion, club members said blood donation is a great social service. Blood donated by a healthy person can play a vital role in saving the life of a patient in need. They added that the need for blood can arise for anyone at any time, and in such moments, donations made by voluntary blood donors prove invaluable.
Club representatives said that blood donation is not merely a social responsibility but an opportunity to give life to an unknown person. They appealed to all healthy and eligible citizens to donate blood regularly and to encourage their families, friends, and young people to take part in this noble cause as well.
The camp was made possible with special support from Mayank Foundation, Bhagwati Export Rice, Sagar Ratna, Nirvana Indane Gas Agency, Agrawal Traders, Chabeela Emporium, Ferozepur Foundation, and Agrawal Dental Clinic. Agrawal Dental Clinic also organized a dental check-up camp alongside the blood donation drive, creating awareness among people about dental and oral health.
Office-bearers and members of Lions Club Ferozepur Border expressed heartfelt gratitude to all 56 blood donors, saying their participation reflects social responsibility and human compassion. They noted that a single unit of blood can become a new ray of hope for someone in need.
