The latest seizure takes the total heroin recovered by CI Amritsar to 54 kg in four days, following recoveries of 27 kg on September 16 and 10 kg on September 18.
The arrested accused have been identified as Prince, Malkit Singh and Rajinder Singh, all residents of Kot Mit Singh, Khalsa Nagar area of Amritsar. Police also impounded a Maruti Swift car bearing registration number HR30-N-2780, allegedly used to transport the contraband.
