Dr Baljit Kaur congratulates Rinnwa, Nagpal on taking charge as Fazilka Chairmen
Fazilka, September 25: Amit Rinnwa has assumed charge as Chairman of the Market Committee, Fazilka, while Atul Nagpal took charge as Chairman of the Improvement Trust, Fazilka.
Cabinet Minister Dr Baljit Kaur, Fazilka MLA Narinderpal Singh Sawna, Jalalabad MLA Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy and Balluana MLA Goldy Musafir attended the programme and congratulated the newly appointed chairmen.
Dr Baljit Kaur congratulated Rinnwa and Nagpal and said they had been entrusted with important responsibilities involving public service. She urged them to work with dedication, honesty and commitment and to give priority to resolving the problems and pending works of people in their respective areas.
She also expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for the appointments. The minister said the newly appointed Chairman should utilise the opportunity to serve people and work towards addressing their grievances.
MLAs Narinderpal Singh Sawna, Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy and Goldy Musafir also extended their best wishes to the new Chairman. They expressed hope that the two would discharge their responsibilities diligently and work for the benefit of the people.
SC Wing Punjab president Gurpreet Singh GP and Planning Board Chairman Upkar Singh Jakhar also congratulated the newly appointed chairmen and called upon them to work diligently for the functioning of the Market Committee and Improvement Trust.
Market Committee Secretary Mandeep Kumar, Improvement Trust Executive Officer Parminder Singh Gill, JE Satnam Singh, AAP leader Arun Narang, district president Upkar Singh Jakhar and other party workers and leaders were present on the occasion.
The appointments come after a September 10, 2026 notification appointing a new Chairman of the Improvement Trust, Fazilka, according to a Punjab and Haryana High Court order dated September 17.
