Ayush Dept organises 2nd Medical Camp at Sur Singh Wala; 538 patients examined
Ferozepur, September 11, 2026: The second Ayush Medical Camp was organised at Gurdwara Sahib, Sur Singh Wala village in Ferozepur district, under the guidance of Ayush Commissioner Punjab, Director Ayurveda Punjab Dr. Raman Khanna, Director Homoeopathy Punjab Dr. Harinderpal Singh, District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr. Rupinderdeep Kaur Gill and District Homoeopathy Officer Dr. Rupinder Kaur,
The camp was part of a series of 10 Ayush medical camps being organised in Ferozepur district. The first camp was held at Talwandi Bhai on September 10, 2026, where 531 patients were examined, free sugar tests were conducted and medicines were distributed.
At the second camp at Sur Singh Wala, a total of 538 patients were examined. Free blood sugar tests were also conducted and medicines were distributed among the patients free of cost.
From the Ayurveda Department, Dr. Jaskamwalpreet Kaur (SMO), Dr. Rakesh Grover, Sukhpreet Singh, Ruth, Beant Kaur (Upvaid), Vishal, Balwinder Singh and Surjit Kaur (Yoga Instructor) performed duties. From the Homoeopathy Department, Dr. Satnam Singh Gill, Baljit Singh and Vikas Kumar (Dispenser) provided their services.
The department officials said that the remaining Ayush medical camps would also be organised as per schedule to provide accessible healthcare services to people in rural areas.
