Mohali Breaking: Govt School Headmaster dies after knife attack

Mohali (Punjab), August 9, 2026: Gurusewak Singh, headmaster of Government High School, Kumbhra, has died after sustaining serious injuries in an alleged attack by unidentified assailants a few days ago.
According to preliminary information, Singh was critically injured after being attacked with sharp-edged weapons. He was subsequently admitted to a hospital for treatment, where his condition remained critical.
He underwent surgery on Thursday. Following the procedure, he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and was placed on a ventilator.
Despite continued medical efforts and monitoring, Singh succumbed to his injuries late Saturday night.
