Panthic gathering called by Amritpal, associates calls for struggle for Sikh rights, to launch agitation for release of Bandi Singhs from Oct 15

Baba Bakala, August 19, 2024: Panthic gathering called by Waris Punjab De leader MP Amritpal Singh and his associates today called upon Sikh community to start a struggle for Sikh rights but without using the word Khalistan in speeches made by different speakers.
MP Sarabjit Singh Khalsa, Tarsem Singh and some more leaders addressed this gathering.A long message sent by Amritpal Singh from Dibrugarh jail was read out from the stage.

The resolutions passed by the gathering resolved to reorganize Akali Dal and constitute Akali Jathas at the village level.
Calls for contesting SGPC electing by taking along all honest groups and personalities
Gathering called upon Sikhs not to resort to close door decision on anti panth role played by Akali Dal leaders during sacrilege incidents and Behbal Kalan firing and instead decide matter publicly before sangat
Calls upon to summon Jathedar Gurbachan Singh at Akal Takht who had acted in haste on directions of political leadership to forgive Dera Sirsa head
They also warned government to release Bandi Singh immediately otherwise strong movement will be launched on the issue against the government from October 15, 2024.

The gathering also demanded that sacrilege cases which have been transferred out of Punjab, should be brought back to Punjab and Dera Sirsa head should be declared main accused in the case.
In sixth resolution, the gathering declared unflinching support for farmer protests and announced support to all protesting farmer unions.Also calls upon starting District level meetings to solicit support to liberate Amritspal Singh and other Bandi Singhs.
They also gave an ultimatum that if Bhai Amritpal Singh and other Bandi Singh won't be freed by October 15, then a strong movement will be launched.
