MLA Bhullar inaugurates three new Aam Aadmi Clinics inaugurated in Ferozepur taking district total to 31
Aam Aadmi Clinics provide 46 types of diagnostic tests and 107 essential medicines free of cost. No registration or consultation fee is charged, and qualified MOs examine patients before prescribing medicines and recommending necessary tests.
Ferozepur, July 25, 2026: In a major boost to public healthcare, the Punjab Government on Saturday inaugurated three new Aam Aadmi Clinics in Ferozepur district, taking the total number of such clinics in the district from 28 to 31.
The new clinics were inaugurated by Ferozepur Urban MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Krishna Pal Rajput and Civil Surgeon Dr. Meenakshi Dhingra.
The newly opened clinics are located at Central Jail Ferozepur, Malwal Road near the MARKFED Office, and Gol Bagh near the Government Veterinary Polyclinic in Ferozepur city.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar said the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to providing quality healthcare services free of cost to every citizen. He said the state has witnessed significant improvements in the healthcare sector, with Aam Aadmi Clinics offering free medical consultations, medicines and diagnostic tests, thereby saving both time and money for the public.
ADC (Development) Krishna Pal Rajput said the Punjab Government would soon launch Aam Aadmi Village Clinics to extend quality healthcare services to rural areas. He said these clinics would provide free medical treatment and medicines to villagers closer to their homes.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Meenakshi Dhingra said the Aam Aadmi Clinics provide 46 types of diagnostic tests and 107 essential medicines free of cost. She added that no registration or consultation fee is charged, and qualified Medical Officers examine patients before prescribing medicines and recommending necessary tests. She said the initiative has made quality healthcare more accessible to residents of Ferozepur and has reduced their out-of-pocket medical expenses.
Among those present were Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Naveen Sethi, Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Dr. Anchal, Dr. Tushti, Dr. Rishabh, Dr. Abhijeet, Deputy Mass Media Officer Ankush Bhandari, Amarjeet (SI), Himanshu, PA to the MLA, Jail Superintendent Manjit Singh Sindhu, along with medical staff and other dignitaries.
