Documentary on life of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji screened in Ferozepur villages
Ferozepur, August 6, 2026: As part of the celebrations marking the 650th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, a special documentary highlighting his life, philosophy, teachings and message of humanity was screened in Badhni Jaimal Singh and Dhindsa villages of the Ferozepur Rural Assembly constituency on Wednesday.
The documentary is being showcased through a mobile documentary van touring villages across the Ferozepur Rural constituency to spread the inspiring message of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji among the masses.
The Punjab Government aims to take the teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji to every household and strengthen the values of equality, communal harmony and social brotherhood. The documentary also seeks to inspire the younger generation to follow the Guru's ideals, draw lessons from his life and understand their responsibilities towards society.
Villagers appreciated the Punjab Government's initiative, stating that the teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji continue to guide society on the path of truth, equality, mutual respect and human unity.
