Senior Citizens Forum meeting highlights importance of inner peace and purposeful living
Ferozepur, September 23, 2026: The monthly meeting of the Senior Citizens Forum, was held at Baghban Complex, under the leadership of Forum President Pradeep Dhawan. Religious representatives of the Brahma Kumaris organisation from Mount Abu and its Ferozepur branch participated in the meeting.
On the occasion, Harish Bhai, Sister Shefali, Sister Adili and Sister Surmishta of the Brahma Kumaris organisation delivered spiritual discourses on making life meaningful, controlling the mind, developing concentration, maintaining inner peace and remaining happy. They also emphasised the importance of controlling anger and understanding the purpose of life.
Members of the Forum, including Ashok Kakkar, Avtar Singh Bhola, Dr Surinder Singh, Harish Monga, Satish Puri, Gatinder Kumar Kamal, Ashok Kumar Garg, Desh Bandhu Tuli (Patron), S.S. Khera (Chairman), Ripan Dhawan, Rakesh Sharma, Surinder Singh Blasi and Yoginder Nath Yogi, among others, honoured the religious representatives with due respect.
The religious representatives invited members of the Senior Citizens Forum to visit the Brahma Kumaris spiritual centre at Mount Abu. The invitation was welcomed with applause by Forum President Pradeep Dhawan and the members present. Members whose birthdays fell in August and September were also presented gifts and honoured during the meeting.
In his concluding remarks, Forum President Pradeep Dhawan thanked all members, those who contributed to the smooth organisation of the meeting, and especially the religious representatives of the Brahma Kumaris organisation from Mount Abu and Ferozepur for their participation.
