Breaking: Mad Sandhu Murder Solved: Main shooter among six arrested

Amritsar (Punjab), October 8, 2026: The Commissionerate Police, Amritsar, in a joint operation with Gujarat Police, has claimed to have solved the murder case of social media influencer Madhusudan Singh alias Mad Sandhu, who was shot dead on Loharka Road in Amritsar on October 3.
Police said six accused, including the alleged main shooter Parminder Singh alias Kaka, have been traced in connection with the case.
The case was registered as FIR No. 186 dated October 3, 2026, under Sections 103 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 25, 27, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act at Cantonment Police Station, Amritsar.
According to police, the investigation was launched on the complaint of the victim’s father, Bhupinder Singh. Investigators used technical surveillance, human intelligence and other intelligence-based inputs to trace the suspects.
The police team from Amritsar has travelled to Gujarat to formally arrest the alleged main shooter, Parminder alias Kaka. After completion of the necessary legal formalities, he will be brought to Amritsar for further questioning and investigation.
During the investigation, police said it had emerged that the accused allegedly carried out the killing at the behest of the Jagga Gang of Tarn Taran. Police said further investigation is underway to establish the exact role and involvement of all persons linked to the crime.
Six accused traced
The accused identified by police are:
- Parminder alias Kaka, resident of Lohian Khas, Jalandhar Rural — alleged main shooter
- Amandeep Singh, resident of Tashpur, Kapurthala
- Parmveer Singh, resident of Lohian Khas, Jalandhar Rural
- Baljinder Singh alias Lalli, resident of Dalawar Pur village, Tarn Taran
- Balraj Singh alias Bunty, resident of Khalchiya, Amritsar Rural
- Vikas Singh, resident of Khalchiya, Amritsar Rural
Further investigation is underway.
