  Nanded (Maharashtra), August 14, 2026: Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has been discharged from a private hospital in Nanded, Maharashtra, where he was admitted after being attacked inside a gurdwara on Thursday.
  
  Badal was allegedly attacked by 62-year-old Jaspal Singh inside the gurdwara. He was kept under medical observation following the incident and was discharged after doctors found his condition stable.
