'Yeh Diwali Helmet Wali': Mayank Foundation gifts 'Shields of Life' to teachers, urging road safety
Ferozepur, October 19, 20295: In a commendable initiative to promote road safety awareness, Mayank Foundation Ferozepur (MFF) organized a special campaign titled “Yeh Diwali Helmet Wali” and distributed helmets among the teaching fraternity of Ferozepur.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Setia, Secretary of Mayank Foundation, said that teachers are the true role models of society, and when they follow traffic safety rules themselves, it sends a strong and positive message to the community. He emphasized that wearing a helmet is not merely a formality but one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect life.
Highlighting the importance of helmets, he shared that they help prevent severe head injuries and can reduce the risk of fatal accidents by up to 70%. A helmet not only ensures personal safety but also reflects a responsible citizen’s commitment to road discipline.
Foundation members remarked that a helmet is truly a “Shield of Life”, and every rider should adopt it as an essential part of their daily routine. This Diwali, Mayank Foundation spread a meaningful message.

The event was attended by several teachers along with Foundation members — Rakesh Kumar, Vipul Narang, Ashwani Sharma, Sandeep Sehgal, Advocate Karn Pugal, Kamal Sharma, Sumesh Gumber, Aksh Kumar, Deepak Mathpal, Tushar Aggarwal, and Deepak Sharma, along with other social workers. All participants pledged to wear helmets themselves and encourage others to do the same.
