Canada: Punjabi origin Police officer mowed down by criminal

Toronto, June 11, 2026: A Punjabi origin Police officer was mowed down by an accused under his car.
Officer who has been identified as Tarun Bali (29) was trying to stop a criminal Zonathan Mignalt (18) who had fled from custody from a hospital. Police had even used nails to stop his car but he mowed down the officer under his car. He was taken to hospital in serious condition but he succumbed to injuries.
