Bhupesh Baghel reviews Punjab Congress’s 2027 Poll Strategy, calls for stronger grassroots organisation

Chandigarh, July 7, 2026: Punjab Congress in-charge Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday chaired a series of crucial meetings with senior party leaders and district presidents in Chandigarh to review the political situation in the state and formulate the party’s strategy for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.
The meetings were attended by Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, along with senior party functionaries and district presidents.
Baghel stressed the need to further strengthen the Congress organisation at the district, block and booth levels, enhance coordination with grassroots workers, and intensify the party’s outreach across Punjab ahead of the Assembly elections.
The discussions also focused on the current political scenario in the state and measures to reinforce the party’s organisational structure while mobilising workers at every level.
Reiterating the party’s commitment to Punjab, Baghel said the Congress would continue to work closely with its cadre and strengthen its connect with the people while preparing for the 2027 Assembly polls.
