Breaking: Punjab Congress assigns key roles to three new Working Presidents
Sukhwinder Singh Danny, Sangat Singh Gilzian and Raj Kumar Verka allotted Assembly segments and organisational responsibilities.

Chandigarh, July 7, 2026: The Punjab Congress has finalised the responsibilities of its three newly appointed Working Presidents, assigning them Assembly constituencies, frontal organisations and party departments in coordination with designated AICC secretaries.
According to the party, Sukhwinder Singh Danny will work alongside AICC Secretary Suraj Thakur and will oversee the same Assembly constituencies, frontal organisations and departments currently under Thakur’s charge.
Sangat Singh Gilzian has been assigned to work with AICC Secretary Ravindra Dalvi and will be responsible for the Assembly constituencies, frontal organisations and departments handled by Dalvi.
Meanwhile, Raj Kumar Verka will coordinate with AICC Secretary Hina Kaware and will supervise the same Assembly segments, frontal organisations and departments currently under her charge.
The move comes as the Punjab Congress continues to strengthen its organisational structure and streamline responsibilities ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.
