Haryana cadre IAS officer appointed Director, D/o Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare

New Delhi, July 18, 2026: The Central Government has appointed Ajay Singh Tomer, a 2012-batch IAS officer of the Haryana cadre, as Director in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare, New Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the appointment has been approved by the Competent Authority for a five-year tenure from the date he assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The Haryana Government has been asked to relieve Tomer immediately so that he can join his new assignment in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare.
