No pharmacy exam paper was leaked in Punjab, says Minister Harjot Bains; Watch Video

Chandigarh, July 31, 2026: Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Friday rejected allegations of a paper leak in the state, saying that repeated claims could not turn a falsehood into the truth.
Responding to the controversy surrounding the Pharmacy examination, Bains maintained that no paper had been leaked in Punjab. He also claimed that the alleged mastermind behind the case was from Bhiwani in Haryana.
The Education Minister said the Punjab Government was continuously working to improve the education sector and had taken several initiatives for the welfare and academic progress of students.
Highlighting the government’s achievements, Bains claimed that 882 students from Punjab had cleared the NEET examination. He further said that around ₹2,500 crore had been spent on the development and improvement of government schools across the state.
Bains reiterated that the government remained committed to strengthening the education system and providing better educational opportunities to students.
