Two students from CGC Landran selected for IIT Bombay E-Cell and Google Ambassador roles

Chandigarh, August 4, 2026: Dhruv and Harsh Singla, pursuing B.Sc. AI & ML, from Chandigarh Business School of Administration (CBSA), CGC Landran, have been selected for national-level campus ambassador programmes making the institution proud.
Harsh who has been selected as the Campus Ambassador for Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell), IIT Bombay, will lead student participation in the National Entrepreneurship Challenge (NEC) 2026, a pan-India initiative focused on promoting entrepreneurship and strengthening innovation ecosystems among educational institutions.
As part of his responsibilities, he will facilitate entrepreneurship-focused activities on campus, including ideation workshops, startup awareness sessions, pitch competitions and networking initiatives. He will also act as a liaison between E-Cell IIT Bombay and CBSA, CGC Landran, encouraging students to participate in entrepreneurship-related programmes and initiatives. His selection process for the role entailed evaluation of his academic profile, technical skills, leadership experience, communication abilities, teamwork, event management capabilities and ideas for promoting entrepreneurship among students.
Dhruv, who has been selected as a Google Student Ambassador 2026, will represent Google’s AI initiatives, particularly Gemini, on campus and contribute towards technology awareness, workshops, demonstrations and student engagement activities. His responsibilities will include organizing learning sessions on Google AI tools, creating awareness among students, building technology-focused communities and encouraging participation in initiatives related to emerging technologies. He too was selected through a competitive process involving an online application highlighting his technical background, leadership experience, communication skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities and community engagement initiatives.
