Hello Uncle Amarinder, Rahul Gandhi tells his favourite in BJP, sparks speculations

New Delhi, August 7, 2026: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi gave a big shout out to former Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh.
Responding to questions posed by Gen Z on his social media account, when Rahul Gandhi was asked who was his favourite in BJP, he said, ‘’Hello Uncle Amarinder….Capt. Amarinder Singh definitely. I get along with him. He is cool and he is an expert in military history.
Rahul’s statement has sparked speculations that former Punjab CM may opt for return to Congress. Though earlier too such speculations had risen which former CM had dismissed as rumours.
