  Chandigarh, August 27, 2026: Punjab Government employees who had taken mass leave today to protest against Bhagwant Mann led AAP government have decided to burn effigies of Chief Minister on August 28. This decision was taken after Chief Minister refused to meet leaders of striking employees saying that talks and strikes cannot go together.
  
  Employees have also decided to hold meeting on August 30 in Ludhiana to decide on future course of action.
