Former IAS Capt. Preetdev Singh Shergill is no more, KBS Sidhu condoles demise

Chandigarh, September 24, 2026: Former IAS officer Capt. Preetdev Singh Shergill passed away yesterday 23 September 2026, after battling cancer with the courage and grace of the true soldier he always was, first in uniform and later in the service of the people. He fought it to the very end, but ultimately the illness prevailed. His mortals remains were consigned to flames in Chandigarh today.
Sharing his condolence message, former IAS officer KBS Sidhu said the he pays sincerest and heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. May Waheguru grant his soul eternal peace and give the family the strength to bear this loss.
