Educate Punjab Project supports flood victims with 20 dairy animals in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, October 7, 2025: The Educate Punjab Project, known for providing scholarships and free education to underprivileged students through seven free schools and awards to nearly 6,000 beneficiaries, has extended its relief efforts to flood-hit communities. Following the devastating floods of 2025, the project team has been active in disaster relief since August 22, taking responsibility for the rehabilitation of 12 affected villages. Initiatives include crop replanting, educational support for children, livestock replenishment, and other forms of assistance.
Today, in the flood-affected villages of Ferozepur district, the Educate Punjab Project distributed 20 dairy cattle to families who lost their livestock during the disaster. Before the distribution ceremony, prayers were led by Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh Ji, Head Granthi of Sri Darbar Sahib.
Volunteers, including Jaswinder Singh Khalsa and other members, were present at the event. Jaswinder Singh Khalsa reaffirmed the project’s commitment not only to education for needy students but also to the rehabilitation of flood-affected families. “Many families lost everything in the floods. We will continue all possible efforts to help them rebuild their lives,” he said.
