Chamoli (Uttarakhand) , October 9: Heavy snowfall has blanketed the sacred Sikh shrine of Shri Hemkund Sahib in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district, covering the Gurudwara complex and surrounding mountains in a layer of snow.
The snowfall has brought a sharp change in weather at the high-altitude pilgrimage site, with temperatures dropping significantly.
