Railway announces special trains on Amritsar–Nanded and Beas–Ferozepur routes
Ferozepur, August 28, 2026: Northern Railway has announced the operation of a reserved special train between Amritsar and Hazur Sahib Nanded for the convenience of passengers.
Train No. 04642 Amritsar–Hazur Sahib Nanded Reserved Special Express will depart from Amritsar at 8:10 pm on August 31, 2026, and reach Hazur Sahib Nanded at 11:00 am, completing the journey in 38 hours and 50 minutes.
On the return journey, Train No. 04641 Hazur Sahib Nanded–Amritsar Reserved Special Express will depart from Hazur Sahib Nanded at 9:00 pm on September 6, 2026, and reach Amritsar at 11:20 am, after a journey of 38 hours and 20 minutes.
The special train will halt in both directions at Beas, Jalandhar City, Phagwara, Ludhiana, Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt, Panipat, Delhi Safdarjung, Palwal, Mathura, Agra Cantt, Gwalior, Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Bina, Bhopal, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Manmad, Nagarsol, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Parbhani and Purna. The train will comprise 18 Sleeper Class coaches and four General Class coaches.
The Ferozepur Railway Division of Northern Railway will also operate Train No. 04612, a special unreserved one-way train from Beas to Ferozepur Cantt on August 30, 2026, on the occasion of Radha Soami Satsang Day.
The train will depart from Beas at 12:40 pm and arrive at Ferozepur Cantt at 5:25 pm. En route, it will halt at Dhillon, Hamira, Kartarpur, Suranussi, Jalandhar City, Jalandhar Cantt, Phagwara, Phillaur, Ludhiana, Jagraon, Moga and Talwandi Bhai.
The special trains have been announced to facilitate passenger movement and provide additional travel arrangements on the respective routes, said Basant Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager.
