Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s niece to inaugurate memorial hall on Aug 3 in Malwa; Details Inside

Rampura Phul, August 2, 2025: In a heartfelt tribute to India’s iconic freedom fighter, the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial Hall will be inaugurated at the Public Library in Rampura Phul on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The hall will be inaugurated by Bibi Gurjit Kaur, niece of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, in a ceremony organized by the Public Library Management Committee to honor the revolutionary’s life and inspire future generations.
The newly built hall, located on the second floor of the library, will house a valuable collection of books gifted by Prof. Chaman Lal, retired JNU professor and author of over 50 books on history, revolution, and literature.
The event will be presided over by eminent Punjabi writer Baldev Singh, author of Sadaknama.
Library President Yogesh Singla, along with Finance Secretary Mehar Chand Bahia and General Secretary Kailash Kaushik, has extended invitations to various dignitaries and community members, including Babushahi Network Editor Baljit Balli, to join the program.
“We would be greatly honoured if you could join us and bless the occasion with your presence,” reads the official invitation, emphasizing the library's commitment to promoting the revolutionary spirit and reading culture among youth.
