Farmers agitation entered 11th day, demand invitation for talks from PM's office only
Ferozepur, October 4, 2020: Farmers under the banner of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, with support from 31 farmers’ bodies to step up agitation, have been squatting on the railway tracks in Amritsar and Ferozepur since September 24, continuing with their ‘rail roko’ agitation across the state against the new Farm laws enacted by the Centre , today reiterated that they would not budge till their demand for revoking the new legislations was accepted and extended the morcha till October 8. They also demanded the invitation for talks only from the PM's office only and not from any Punjab BJP leader.
As usual, the protesters shouted slogans against the Centre government and Corporate houses on burning the effigies, demanding the invitation for talks from the Prime Minister’s office only and not from any BJP leader.
Speaking to the media persons, Satnam Singh Pannu, State President, KMSC said, the BJP leaders are talking about holding the meeting with the Prime Minister, without any concrete agenda and without a written invitation.
Thousands of farmers today protested against the misleading statement by the ministers, of doubling of income of the farmers under the pressure of Ambani and Adani, to deteriorate the chances of dialogue by working on the hidden agenda, said protesters.

They further confirming the complete corruption of the country's governance, the farmers' leaders strongly demanded the immediate repeal of the three agriculture ordinances, by calling the special session.
