Protest extended till October 21
Kisan Mazdoor Sangharh Committee supports BKU(EU) to gehrao Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Oct.19 against 3 Farm Acts
Ferozepur, October 17, 2020: The ongoing rail-roko protest by the farmers under the banner of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharh Committee, Punjab today entered 24th day and extended it till October 21.
The protesters also decided to support the gehrao the Punjab Vidhan Sahba by Bharti Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan on October 19, said Satnam Singh Pannu, State President, KMSC Punjab.
Earlier, there had been deadlock over the talks fixed by the Central government with the farmers. Railway has already cancelled number of trains, diverted and rescheduled in the wake of continuing farmers agitation.
The KMSC leaders also demanded the compensation of Rs.20 lakh to each to the farmers who have sacrificed their lives during the agitation and family of Mata Tej Kaur besides job to one of the member and waiving of the entire loans, if any.
The protesters also threatened to intensify the agitation by now allowing the entry of any political leader in the villages, in case the three farm bills are not withdrawn and the police cases against the farmers in Haryana are not cancelled.
