Chandigarh DGP inaugurates new Mini COVID Care Centre in city

Chandigarh, January 18, 2022:
Praveer Ranjan, IPS, Director General of Police UT Chandigarh inaugurated a new Mini COVID Center at Police Hospital in Sector-26 with 52 bed capacity on Monday. This Centre has been set by Sri Sathya Sai Gramin Jagrati.
Amar Vivek Agarwal, from Sri Sathya Sai Gramin Jagrati, explained that qualified medical and para-medial staff has been provided to take care of the COVID-positive patients. He further explained that arrangements have been made for indoor games and nutritious food for the COVID patients.
Praveer Ranjan, DGP, UT Chandigarh appreciated Sri Sathya Sai Gramin Jagrati for coming forward and associating with the Chandigarh Administration during the ongoing crisis. He mentioned that Sri Sathya Sai Gramin Jagrati previously operated one Mini COVID Centre in Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sector-8B during the second wave also.
Omvir Singh, DIG, Yashpal Garg, Secretary Health, Dr. Suman Singh, DHS, Dr. V.K. Nagpal and Rajiv Tiwari, Director(PR) were also present during the inauguration of the Mini COVID Care Center.
Stay, food, medicines and every other facility in the Mini COVID Care Centre is provided free of cost.
